First a human adventure
The idea of cycling holidays was born during our long bus transfers on the Tour de France routes.
Accomplished and recognized sportsmen, we sometimes left with the frustration of not having lifted our heads from the handlebars to admire the landscape or of having had the opportunity to taste a local dish.
The name Baroudeur – an expression to designate a runner who attacks, who has panache and who likes to evolve off the beaten track – then takes on its full meaning and presents itself to us as obvious.
Jérôme Cousin
11 years of professional cycling, having participated in the biggest international events such as the Tour de France & the Vuelta. A specialist in big escapes, he notably won a stage victory in Paris-Nice. In 2021, he co-created a bicycle tourism company in Portugal, while also pursuing a master’s degree in management. Building on this experience, he decided to import this concept to France and create Baroudeur Cycling.
